Welcome!

My name is Dr. Julia Giesemann, and I am a licensed psychological psychotherapist specializing in cognitive behavioral therapy. After completing my studies and doctorate in psychotherapy research at the University of Trier, I opened my private practice in Munich-Laim. Together, we will develop concrete strategies that fit your life and your goals.

Cognitive behavioral therapy – what does that mean?

Cognitive behavioral therapy is based on the premise that thoughts, feelings, and behavior are closely interconnected. By recognizing and changing unhelpful thought patterns and behaviors, psychological distress can be significantly reduced. The therapy is solution- and present-focused, well-supported by scientific evidence, and individually tailored to your needs.
